Naphthalene alongside ortho-xylene is an important feed stock for the synthesis of Phthalic Anhydride, which play a role in the production of plastics. Phthalic Anhydride of high purity is also used in the pharmaceutical, dyestuff and agro-industries.

Refined Tar

Tars of different viscosities after refining of main feed stock is used as binders for production of monolithic refractory products. Special grades are used for sealing the road surface and as anticorrosive and water proofing paints for use in boats and underground Pipes.
